Arisaema griffithii 'Pradhanii'

(C.E.C. Fisch.) Pradhan 1936

Currently this taxon is included to A. griffithii, it was formerly regarded as a variety (var. pradhanii).
It differs from the typical form in a very broad (galeate) spathe hood.
This plant is sometimes sold with a fantasy, totally incorrect name "Graffiti".

The tuber was big, flat and very light.
It started to grow on 2012-05-21.
The two leaves unfolded together with the inflorescence.
The inflorescence was male.
The leaves unfolded fully when the spathe withered; photo (1-18) © Marek Argent
