This helophyte comes from South-Eastern Asia. It can be 60 cm tall.

Its inflorescence. The spathe has distinct ciliae.
That's why it's named ciliata

In 2004 I bought this species. It was 15 cm tall.
Its leaves are very stiff as for a Cryptocoryne.
