Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia

This species comes from Sumatra. It is 20-30 cm tall.
It is one of the easiest both for for a submerse and emerse culture.

Plants brought from a shop.
In my aquarium the bottom of the leaves became reddish.
It bloomed underwater, the spathe was brown outside and yellow inside.
There are only a few female flowers in one row.	View of the spadix.
